A few weeks ago, I photographed Daniel's baptism into the Romanian Orthodox Church. Here is Daniel with his proud parents.

The ceremony took place in a small church in Manhattan.
The Godfather and Godmother hold the baby during most of the ceremony.

Daniel's very calm just before he is placed in the water, . . .
. . . and not so calm once he entered the water.

One of Daniel's grandmothers watching intently.
The priest cuts a lock of Daniel's hair.
The priest delivers some final words to the audience.
Daniel was the star of the after-party.

More Baby Photography
Last week I photographed a baptism and after party. These are a few pictures I took before the ceremony. Each of these pictures was taken under natural window lighting.
